Co-ordinating a Scottish Book Festival in their main retail
outlets in New York and San Francisco. Increasing sales of

The first-ever Scottish integrated marketing campaign in the
world's largest department store. Scottish food, drink and
tourism all combined to create " Tastes of Scotland"
a 10-day promotion involving Lady Claire MacDonald of Kinloch
Lodge, Isle of Skye.

Hediard
With seven retail outlets in Paris selling the finest produce
from around the world, this promotion succeeded in increasing
the listings of Scottish products with this exclusive specialist
food retailer.

Marks
& Spencer Europe
Now in its 5th year of operation, this highly successful campaign
truly integrates tourism with commerce. All thirty three European
stores were synchronised to promote Scottish food and drink
at the same time as the Scottish Tourist Board's annual consumer
campaign.

Paul Stuart
One of Madison Avenue's classic menswear retailers. Importing
a wide selection of apparel from Scotland including Harris
Tweed, cashmere, lambswool and traditional mackintoshes -
a Scottish promotion was a natural for this family-owned store.

ScotsFest
A month-long celebration of Scotland and all things Scottish.
Sponsored by the largest whisky importer in North America,
Schieffelin & Somerset, this event raised the profile
of Scotland in the United States. In 1998 ScotsFest consisted
of Scottish Film, Book, Drink, Theatre and Music Festivals
on the east and west coasts of the States. Starting 25th January
each year with a Robert Burns Ball in the New York Public
Library for 1500 invited guests, ScotsFest grows from strength
to strength year on year.

Producing a 16-page Scottish supplement with France's Le Monde
newspaper to co-incide with the kick-off match between Scotland
and Brasil in the 1998 World Cup.

World Cup
Co-ordinating a consumer promotion in Bordeaux to coincide
with the visit of the Tartan Army for the Scotland v Norway
game. Producing maps listing all the bars, restaurants and
retailers promoting Scottish produce and products. Providing
live Scottish entertainment for public performances in the
city centre. Organising a civic dinner for the Scottish Trade
Minister and other Scottish business delegates in Bordeaux.
